This Privacy Policy establishes the terms in which MonkeyNote interacts with the data in the mobile app. MonkeyNote does not provide account creation, authentication features, cloud synchronization or online storage services. The app works locally on the user's device.
MonkeyNote does not collect personal information from users. Since there is no account system, no authentication and no cloud storage functionality, no personal data is uploaded or stored on our servers or third party servers.
All notes, folders and information created in MonkeyNote remain locally on the user's device. MonkeyNote does not transfer, upload, analyze or access the content created by the user.
The previous Web Folder and Fast Note synchronization features are no longer available because MonkeyNote no longer supports user accounts.
MonkeyNote may require internet access only for optional features such as opening external links selected by the user or displaying advertisements in the free version of the app. Apart from these cases, MonkeyNote does not send user data online.
MonkeyNote web app does not use cookies of any kind.
MonkeyNote may contain links to third party websites that may be of interest to the user, such as tutorial videos or external resources. Once the user clicks on these links and leaves our application or website, we no longer have control over the site to which the user is redirected and therefore we are not responsible for the terms, privacy policies or protection of data on those third party sites. These sites are subject to their own privacy policies, so it is recommended that you consult them.
The service used for ads in the mobile app is AdMob.
